R.K. Batra Group started its humble journey as an LPG/Propane/Propylene transporter. The group has been in the transportation trade by the name of “Shree Rama Roadways” since 1981 and manages a fleet in excess of 950 LPG/Propane and Propylene pressurized road tankers.
The company serves all public sector Oil Companies for LPG transportation and the leading chemical industries in the country for pressurized gas transportation, including Reliance Industries Limited.

The firm is engaged in the manufacturing of all kinds of Mobile and Storage Cryogenic/Non-Cryogenic Pressure Vessels, Air Receivers, Heat Exchangers. Petroleum Storage Tanks and Bowsers, Setting-up LPG Blending and Bottling Plants and Industrial Installations, Gas Bank Manifold Installations, Fuel Dispensing Stations, City Gas Distribution Systems, and a wide range of LPG Machines and Equipment. The LPG Cylinder Manufacturing Unit has received statutory approval from the Bureau of Indian Standards/Chief Controller of Explosives, Nagpur and manufactures LPG Cylinders under Gas Cylinder Rules 2016. This unit has all inhouse testing facilities required for manufacturing of safe and durable LPG cylinders.
The company has vast experience in Cylinder Manufacturing following IS:3196 (Part-1&2) for Indian Oil PSUs and Private Bottlers. The company also manufactures Cylinders compliant to various International Standards such as ISO 22991: 2004(E), EN 1442, EN 13445, SLS 1178:2013 & NS 369.

The LPG Valves manufacturing unit started its journey under the name of M/s Delhi LPG Industries in the year 2004. It has now been named as M/s Surya Shakti Vessels Pvt. Ltd. It has statutory approval from the Bureau of Indian Standards/Chief Controller of Explosives, Nagpur. We have the experience of manufacturing various sizes of Brass valves suitable for varied applications. We have strong technical strength backed by technicians with exquisite skills and polished computer numerical control processing center. We are also equipped with advanced machines & testing instruments. It has IOCL, BPCL, and HPCL as its customers. It also supplies valves to parallel marketers of LPG in India and exports to Nepal as well.
The company has been successfully running an LPG Blending cum Bottling Unit at Hathin, near Palwal (Haryana) under the brand name GILDAN for 20 years. It caters to the needs of Bulk LPG customers and supplies filled commercial LPG Cylinders to Industries, Hotels, Canteens, and Hospitals. The company is also a PESO-approved Auto LPG Dispensing Stations installer and operator.
As a logistics solution provider, the organization under the banner of R.K. Batra Transport, Brand name Shree Rama Roadways, is catering to the transportation needs of all major Oil Public sector undertakings like IOCL, HPCL, BPCL, and GAIL. The logistics arm also services a sizeable proportion of Nepal’s LPG Bottlers. Many of the Private Bottlers in India and major Industries also use the services of Shree Rama Roadways for their logistics of pressurized gases.
The agency is engaged in consultation, testing, and inspection of pressure vessels at various LPG installations and bottling plants. It also provides consultancy services for new LPG installations, along with the preparation of Plant layout drawings and P&I drawings.
The firm is a PESO-recognised competent person agency for certification under the SMPV (U) rules, 2016. The company is also an authorized distributor of Reliance Industries Limited, for its Polypropylene granules in the Nepal region.
